A footlight is simple lighting device used to careate sources of light in bedrooms, stairs, home passages, office lobbies, parks, shopping malls, hotels, and other areas. As the name suggest, they are fixed at a lower elevation from the ground.

At the literal end of the day, a well-illuminated staircase can be just what is needed as you head off to bed. Sometimes, the simplest solution of all may be the best, and step lights were created just for this purpose.
