What are the differences between microwave radar led light sensor and infrared light sensor?
Microwave radar light sensor and infrared light sensor are common in the usage of led sensor lights. But which one is better and how should we choose the light sensor? Firstly, we should know the differences between them.
1. Different working principle
Microwave radar light sensor, is based on the Doppler effect, using the most advanced planar antenna, a new type of intelligent lighting product that automatically controls the light source through the induction module; and the infrared light sensor is designed by technical MCU circuit, with the active infrared working mode and infrared decoding mode.
2. Different performance
The microwave radar light sensor effectively suppresses the interference of high harmonics and other clutter, with high sensitivity, high reliability, safety and convenience, and intelligent energy saving; and the infrared light sensor has the characteristics of good stability, strong anti-interference and green energy saving.
3. Different installation
According to the characteristics of the radar sensing technology, the non-metallic object can be penetrated, so the sensor of the microwave radar light sensor can be built inside the lamp; and the infrared light sensor must expose the human body sensing head outside the lamp to collect the infrared energy change of the environment.
4. Different application
Microwave radar light sensor are the first choice for building intelligence and modernization of property management; infrared light sensor are widely used in demanding commercial and industrial applications, also it can be used indoors, like wardrobe, closet or other furniture.
5. Different sensing distance
The sensing interval of the microwave radar light sensor can reach 8-10m, and the sensing distance of the infrared light sensor is 0-5m. The sensing distance of the infrared light sensor is easily affected by external environmental factors. However, the microwave radar light sensor has a wide sensing angle, no dead zone, and it can penetrate glass and thin wood, and is not affected by environment, temperature, dust, etc. At 37 degrees, the sensing distance will not be shortened.
